Bernard Buis

Bernard Buis is a French politician who has served as a Senator for the Drôme department since November 2018. A former school administrator by profession, he began his political career as the mayor of Lesches-en-Diois, a position he held from 1995 to 2014. He also served as a departmental councilor and vice-president of the Drôme General Council. In October 2023, he was elected as a secretary of the French Senate, continuing his long-standing involvement in regional and national governance.
