Besik Amiranashvili

Besik Amiranashvili is a Georgian public official and lawyer who currently serves as the Head of the National Forestry Agency. He has extensive experience in public service, most notably serving as the State Representative (Governor) of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region from 2018 to 2025. Prior to his gubernatorial role, he held various positions in law enforcement and government, including serving as the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and as the Director of the Police Department of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. He also served as the Chairman of the Agency for Protected Areas within the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
