Bob Hensgens

Bob Hensgens is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Louisiana State Senate for the 26th district. First elected to the state legislature in 2011, he previously represented the 47th district in the Louisiana House of Representatives until 2018. Before his legislative career, Hensgens served as the mayor of Gueydan, Louisiana, from 2007 to 2011 and has worked as an administrator at the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home since 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
