Borjana Krišto is a Bosnian Croat politician serving as the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina since January 2023. She is the first woman to hold this office, as well as the first woman to have served as the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a position she held from 2007 to 2011. A long-time member of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Krišto has held various legislative and ministerial roles, including Minister of Justice at both the cantonal and federal levels. Her political career has focused on European Union integration and strengthening bilateral relations, though her tenure has faced challenges regarding coalition stability and cabinet management.
