Brittis Benzler

Brittis Benzler is a Swedish politician and civil servant who currently serves as the County Governor of Jönköping County, a position she assumed on January 15, 2024. A long-time member of the Left Party, she previously held the role of County Governor of Halland County from 2020 to 2023. Throughout her career, Benzler has been deeply involved in regional politics, serving as a regional councilor on Gotland for 12 years and as a group leader in the regional assembly for over two decades. She has also held various leadership roles within the Left Party, including membership in its executive committee and party board.
