Bruce Tarr

Bruce Tarr is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts Senate, where he has represented the 1st Essex and Middlesex District since 1995. A member of the Republican Party, he has held the position of Senate Minority Leader since 2011. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, Tarr served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1991 to 1995. He is a graduate of Suffolk University, where he completed both his undergraduate and law degrees. Throughout his career, he has been a consistent presence in Massachusetts state politics, frequently winning re-election to his seat.
