Bu-nam Yang is a South Korean politician and former high-ranking prosecutor currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Seo-gu Eul in Gwangju. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in the legal field, serving in various roles including Chief Prosecutor of the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office and the Busan High Prosecutors' Office. After retiring from the prosecution service in 2020, he transitioned into private practice as a lawyer. He joined the Democratic Party of Korea, where he has held leadership positions, including head of the party's Gwangju City Committee, and was elected to the National Assembly in 2024.
