Carol van Eert

Carol van Eert is a Dutch geographer, civil servant, and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Rheden, a position he has held since January 2018. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), he previously served as the Mayor of Beuningen from 2012 to 2018. Before entering local government leadership, van Eert worked in economic development for various municipalities including Tilburg, Nijmegen, Ede, and Arnhem, and served as the secretary-director of the Arnhem-Nijmegen City Region. He holds a degree in urban and economic geography from Radboud University Nijmegen.
