Casimiro Antonio Marte Familia

Casimiro Antonio Marte Familia is a Dominican Republic politician, businessman, and trade unionist who has served as the Senator for Santiago Rodríguez Province since 2020. A prominent figure in the transport sector, he founded the National Confederation of Transport Organizations (CONATRA) in 1986 and later launched the social-democratic Primero La Gente Party. Throughout his career, he has been known for his involvement in labor organizations, his advocacy for stricter border controls and limitations on Haitian immigration, and various political alliances across major Dominican parties.
