Catherine Ardagh is an Irish politician serving as a Minister of State since 2026 and as a Teachta Dála (TD) for Dublin South-Central since 2024. A member of Fianna Fáil, she previously served as a Senator from 2016 to 2024, where she acted as the party's leader in the Seanad and spokesperson on Social Protection. Ardagh began her political career on the Dublin City Council in 2014. Throughout her tenure, she has been a vocal advocate for increased state support for fertility treatments, improved special education services for children with disabilities, and the expansion of state-funded childcare. She is a proponent of housing development and has consistently opposed NIMBYism to address national housing shortages.
