박충권

Park Chung-kwon is a South Korean politician and former North Korean defector serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. Born in Hamhung, North Korea, he studied chemical engineering at the Kim Jong-un National Defense University before defecting to South Korea in 2009. He later earned a doctorate in materials engineering from Seoul National University and worked as a researcher at Hyundai Steel for six years. Entering politics in 2024 through the People Power Party, he focuses on national security and technology policy, often emphasizing his background as a defector to advocate for a firm stance against North Korean influence.
