Chris Tibbs is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador for the electoral district of Grand Falls-Windsor-Buchans. First elected in 2019 and subsequently re-elected in 2021 and 2025, he represents the Progressive Conservative Party. In October 2025, he was appointed to the provincial cabinet, assuming multiple portfolios including Minister of Municipal and Community Affairs, Registrar General, and Minister of Environment, Conservation, and Climate Change. Prior to his political career, Tibbs worked as a paramedic and in the oil and gas industry.
