Christian Dorst

Christian Dorst is a German politician and entrepreneur who has served as a member of the Landtag of Brandenburg since 2024. Before his election to the state parliament, he was active in local politics in Königs Wusterhausen, where he operated a construction business. Dorst gained public attention for his controversial political stances, including his 2022 open letter to the German federal government criticizing sanctions against Russia. In 2025, he resigned from his position as deputy parliamentary group leader for his party following public controversy regarding his comments on the Holocaust and his defense of an AfD politician.
