Christian Phelps is an American educator, journalist, and politician serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for the 93rd district since 2025. Born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, he earned a bachelor's degree in urban studies from Vassar College and a master's degree in international journalism from Cardiff University. Before his election, he worked as a special education paraprofessional and as a digital organizing and communications director for the Wisconsin Public Education Network. A member of the Democratic and Socialist caucuses, Phelps focuses on public education policy and serves on the Committees on Education and Public Benefit Reform.
