Christian Teyssèdre

Christian Teyssèdre is a French politician who served as the Mayor of Rodez from 2008 to 2026. Born in Rodez in 1952, he began his professional career at EDF in Paris before returning to his hometown, where he became active in the CFDT trade union. A member of the Socialist Party, he served as a regional councilor and vice-president of the region, and presided over the Rodez Agglomération. He was awarded the Legion of Honour in 2019 and the National Order of Merit in 2022.
