Christina Buchheim

Christina Buchheim is a German politician currently serving as the Lord Mayor of the city of Köthen (Anhalt), a position she assumed in July 2023. Prior to her mayoral tenure, she served as a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt from 2016 to 2023, representing the constituency of Köthen. A lawyer by profession, Buchheim has been active in local politics since 1992, serving multiple terms on the Köthen city council and the district council of Anhalt-Bitterfeld. She is a member of the political party The Left.
