Christoph Gensch is a German politician and medical doctor who has served as a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate since 2016. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he has held the position of chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the state legislature since 2026. Prior to his full-time political career, Gensch worked as a physician specializing in internal medicine and cardiology. He has also served as a member of the Zweibrücken city council and previously held the role of secretary-general for the Rhineland-Palatinate CDU.
