Christoph Grimm is a German lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the Bundestag, having won a direct mandate in the 2025 federal election. Born in 1957, he studied law at the University of Hamburg and practiced as a lawyer for many years. Initially active in the Social Democratic Party (SPD) starting in 1980, he left the party in 2013 to become a co-founder of the Alternative for Germany (AfD). He previously served as a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from 2016 to 2021.
