Christopher Blazejewski is an American politician and lawyer serving as the Speaker of the Rhode Island House of Representatives since May 2026. A progressive Democrat, he was first elected to the Rhode Island House of Representatives in 2011, representing District 2. Before ascending to the speakership, he served as the House Majority Leader from 2021 to 2026 and as a deputy whip. Outside of his legislative career, Blazejewski is a partner at the Boston-based law firm Sherin and Lodgen. He holds degrees from Harvard University and Harvard Law School and currently resides in Providence with his family.
