Conner Rousseau

Conner Rousseau is a Belgian politician currently serving as a member of the Flemish Parliament and as the chairman of the social-democratic party Vooruit. Born in Sint-Niklaas, he studied law at Ghent University before working as a political advisor. He first gained prominence as a young party leader, overseeing the rebranding of the sp.a party to Vooruit in 2021. Despite facing controversies regarding his public conduct and remarks, he was re-elected as party chairman in 2024 and continues to play a significant role in Flemish politics, including serving as a city council member in Sint-Niklaas.
