Constance Mkhonto

Constance Nonhlanhla Mkhonto is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Before entering national politics, she worked as a teacher and served as the executive mayor of the Ehlanzeni District Municipality in Mpumalanga, as well as a manager in the Mpumalanga House of Traditional Leaders. Mkhonto was elected to the EFF's Central Command Team in 2019 and assumed her seat in the National Assembly in June 2020. She is known for her vocal participation in parliamentary debates, including controversial remarks regarding farm murders in South Africa.
