Constance Mkhonto

Constance Nonhlanhla Mkhonto is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Before entering national politics, she worked as a teacher and served as the executive mayor of the Ehlanzeni District Municipality in Mpumalanga, as well as a manager in the Mpumalanga House of Traditional Leaders. In December 2019, she was elected to the EFF's Central Command Team. Mkhonto assumed her seat in the National Assembly in June 2020 and has been noted for her vocal participation in parliamentary debates regarding national security and social issues.
