Cornelia Schmachtenberg is a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since November 2025, she has served as the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Areas, Europe and Consumer Protection of Schleswig-Holstein in the Günther II cabinet. Previously, she worked as a research assistant in agricultural science and held various roles within the state government and the CDU. She has been a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Landtag since June 2022.
