Covatti Filho

Luis Antonio Franciscatto Covatti, better known as Covatti Filho, is a Brazilian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing Rio Grande do Sul. Born in 1987, he is the son of politicians Vilson and Silvana Covatti. A member of the Progressives party, he has held his federal seat since 2015, with a brief hiatus between 2019 and 2021 when he served as the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development for the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Throughout his legislative career, he has generally aligned with conservative policies and the Bolsonaro administration.
