Craig Coughlin is an American politician who has served as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly since 2010, representing the 19th Legislative District. He has held the position of Speaker of the New Jersey General Assembly since 2018, becoming the longest-serving Speaker in the history of the chamber. Before his legislative career, Coughlin served on the South Amboy Board of Education, the South Amboy City Council, and as a municipal court judge. He is an attorney by profession and a graduate of St. John's University School of Law.
