Cyriac Thomas

Cyriac Thomas is an Indian academic and public figure serving as a member of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions of India. He began his career as a college lecturer in politics at St. Thomas College Pala and subsequently held leadership positions in academia, including serving as Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, acting Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology, and pro Vice-Chancellor and acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kerala. Born in Pala, Kottayam, he comes from a prominent family with a background in public service and the Indian freedom movement.
