Danial Ilkhanipour

Danial Ilkhanipour is a German politician and a member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in Elmshorn and raised in Hamburg, he studied law at the University of Hamburg. Ilkhanipour has been active in local politics for many years, serving in various roles within the SPD, including leadership positions in the Young Socialists. Since his election to the Hamburg Parliament in 2015, he has focused on European and international affairs. He is also known for his advocacy against everyday racism and discrimination, notably supporting the 'School without Racism – School with Courage' project.
