Daniel Andrews

Daniel Andrews is an Australian politician who served as the 48th Premier of Victoria from 2014 to 2023 and as the leader of the Victorian Labor Party from 2010 to 2023. A member of the Legislative Assembly for the district of Mulgrave from 2002 to 2023, he is recognized as the longest-serving Labor premier in the state's history. His administration was marked by significant infrastructure projects, the legalization of voluntary assisted dying, and the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. Andrews previously held several ministerial portfolios, including Health and Consumer Affairs, before leading his party to three consecutive election victories.
