Daniel Francis

Daniel Francis is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bexleyheath and Crayford since 2024. Prior to his election to the House of Commons, he had a long career in local government, serving as a councillor for the Belvedere ward in the London Borough of Bexley from 2000 to 2010 and again from 2014 to 2024. During his time on the council, he led the Labour group and served as Cabinet Member for Transport, where he advocated for the extension of the Elizabeth line. Francis is known for his interest in disability advocacy and has expressed opposition to assisted suicide legislation.
