Daniel Laurent

Daniel Laurent is a French politician serving as a member of the French Senate representing Charente-Maritime since 2008. A viticulturist by profession, he previously served as the mayor of Pons from 1995 until 2017, when he resigned to comply with legislation regarding the accumulation of mandates. Throughout his career, he has held various local government positions, including president of the community of communes of the Pons region and vice-president of the General Council of Charente-Maritime. He is affiliated with The Republicans party.
