Daniel Elias Carvalho Vilela is a Brazilian politician currently serving as the Governor of Goiás, a position he assumed in 2026. Prior to his governorship, he served as the Vice Governor of Goiás from 2023 to 2026. His political career includes serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2015 to 2019 and as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Goiás between 2011 and 2014. He is the son of the late politician Maguito Vilela and has been a prominent figure in regional politics for over a decade.
