Danny de Vries is a Dutch administrator, journalist, and communication scientist. He served as the mayor of Oudewater from November 2020 until November 2025. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he worked extensively in media, including roles at RTV Oost and as a consultant in crisis communication. In 2026, he transitioned to become the director and editor-in-chief of RTV Oost. De Vries is a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) and was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2018 for his contributions to society.
