David Kiplagat

David Kiplagat is a Kenyan politician and Member of the National Assembly representing the Soy Constituency in Uasin Gishu County, affiliated with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). Prior to entering national politics, he served as the Speaker of the County Assembly of Uasin Gishu from 2017 to 2022 and worked professionally as a project leader at the University of Nairobi and a system developer at Kabarak University. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Egerton University and the University of Nairobi, respectively, and his legislative and policy interests include ICT, energy, roads, water, health, and foreign relations.
