David Ray is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing the 69th district. A native of Maumelle, Arkansas, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and political science from the University of the Ozarks. Before his election to the state legislature in 2020, Ray worked as the communications director for Tom Cotton's 2014 U.S. Senate campaign, served as the director of the Arkansas chapter of Americans for Prosperity, and acted as chief of staff for Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin from 2017 to 2020.
