David Ros

David Ros is a French politician and physicist who has served as a Senator for the Essonne department since 2023. A long-time member of the Socialist Party, he began his political career as a municipal councillor in Bures-sur-Yvette in 1989 and later served as the mayor of Orsay from 2008 to 2024. In addition to his legislative duties, he is a researcher in physics at the Université Paris-Saclay and has held leadership roles within the departmental council and his party's federation in Essonne.
