Derrick Jackson is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 68. First elected to the state house in 2016, he previously represented District 64 before pursuing a bid for lieutenant governor in 2022. Following a brief hiatus, he returned to the legislature in 2023 after winning a special election. In 2025, Jackson launched a campaign for governor of Georgia, though he was ultimately defeated in the Democratic primary.
