Derya Çağlar is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Neukölln district. She studied economics at the Technical University of Berlin and began her political career in 2011 as a member of the Neukölln District Assembly, where she served as deputy chair of the SPD faction. Since her election to the state parliament in 2016, she has held roles as deputy parliamentary group leader and spokesperson for budget control. Additionally, she has served as co-chair of the federal government's Expert Commission on Integration Capability since 2019.
