Didier Padey is a French politician who currently serves as a member of the French National Assembly for the first constituency of Savoie, having assumed office in November 2025. Prior to his national parliamentary role, he was active in local government, serving as a municipal councillor in Jongieux starting in 2020 and as the mayor of the same commune from May 2020 until February 2024. Padey entered national politics after serving as the substitute for Marina Ferrari during the 2022 legislative elections, eventually succeeding her when she joined the government. He is generally characterized as an independent politician with centrist sympathies.
