Dilip Walse Patil is an Indian politician and an eight-time Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Ambegaon constituency. A long-time member of the Nationalist Congress Party, he began his career as a personal assistant to Sharad Pawar before entering electoral politics in 1990. Throughout his extensive career, he has held various cabinet portfolios in the Government of Maharashtra, including Finance, Energy, Higher and Technical Education, and Home Affairs. He is also recognized for his contributions to educational infrastructure and the establishment of the Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation.
