Born in 1971, he completed his MBBS from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam before entering politics. He won election to the assembly in 2014, 2019, and 2024, subsequently joining the Fourth N. Chandrababu Naidu ministry as the Minister for Social Welfare.
