Don Bacon

Don Bacon is an American politician and retired U.S. Air Force brigadier general who has served as the U.S. representative for Nebraska's 2nd congressional district since 2017. A moderate Republican, he is known for his bipartisan approach and membership in the Problem Solvers Caucus. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished 29-year military career, commanding wings at Ramstein and Offutt Air Force Bases. In Congress, he has been a vocal advocate for strong foreign policy and has frequently criticized populist trends within his party.
