Don Ceder

Don Ceder is a Dutch lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Amsterdam to Surinamese and Ghanaian parents, he studied law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam before establishing his own law practice focused on debt defense. He previously served as a municipal councilor in Amsterdam, where he advocated for public services for undocumented minors and reform of debt collection practices. In parliament, Ceder has focused on social affairs, immigration, and justice, including leading efforts to investigate the Netherlands' history of slavery and reforming debt collection regulations.
