Don McLaughlin

Don McLaughlin is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 80th district. Before his election to the state legislature, he served as the mayor of Uvalde, Texas, from 2014 to 2023, a period marked by his leadership during the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting. A member of the Republican Party, McLaughlin is known for his conservative stances on border security, property tax relief, and school choice.
