Dylan Wegela is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives since 2023, representing the 26th district. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Wegela spent seven years working as a teacher and union organizer in South Korea, Arizona, and Michigan. He gained prominence as an education activist during the 'Red for Ed' teacher strike wave in Arizona, where he founded Arizona Educators United. A member of the Democratic Socialists of America, he previously organized for Bernie Sanders's 2016 presidential campaign.
