
Edmunds Cepurītis

Edmunds Cepurītis is a Latvian politician and environmentalist currently serving as a member of the 14th Saeima. An environmental scientist by training, he previously served as a deputy in the Riga City Council, where he chaired the Housing and Environment Committee. His political career has been defined by a focus on sustainable climate policy, the implementation of a fair tax system, and the reduction of socio-economic inequalities. Before his election to national parliament, he held leadership roles in the Progressive Party and worked extensively in the non-governmental sector, including as a board member for Zero Waste Latvija.
