Eduard Smirnov

Eduard Smirnov is a Moldovan politician and mechanical engineer serving as a Member of the Parliament of Moldova. Born in Andijan, Uzbekistan, he graduated from the Kostroma Textile Institute and built a career in industrial management, party administration, and municipal governance, including serving as Deputy Mayor of Chișinău. A long-standing member of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova, he has held consecutive terms in parliament representing the party and the Electoral Bloc of Communists and Socialists.
