Edwin L. Olivarez

Edwin L. Olivarez is a Filipino politician, businessman, and former athlete who currently serves as the Mayor of Parañaque. A member of the Lakas–CMD party, he previously held the same mayoral office from 2013 to 2022 and served as a Member of the Philippine House of Representatives for the 1st District of Parañaque from 2010 to 2013 and again from 2022 to 2025. Throughout his career, he has also served as the Vice Governor of Laguna and as chairman of the Metro Manila Council. Olivarez is a former national tennis player and holds degrees from De La Salle University and Olivarez College.
