Edwin Vergara is a Panamanian politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Panama, representing Circuit 13-3 in the province of Panamá Oeste. A member of the Panameñista Party, he serves on the committees for Labor, Health and Social Development, and Population, Environment and Development. Before entering politics, Vergara worked in the agricultural sector, holding positions such as manager of the agricultural division at Carnes de Coclé, S.A., director of Agroindustry at MIDA, and general manager of Agropecuaria El Guásimo. He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad Veracruzana.
