Representing the Central Java IX electoral district, he secured his seat in the 2024 legislative election with 94,160 votes. Before entering national politics, Widodo was a young entrepreneur and received his early education at the Attauhidiyah Cikura Islamic Boarding School. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Gadjah Mada University.
