First elected in 2011, she has been re-elected in every subsequent parliamentary election, representing the Płock constituency. Before entering national politics, she was a teacher and school pedagogue, and served as a city councilor in Płock, where she also held the position of chair of the city council. She is a member of the Civic Coalition and has been active in parliamentary committees focused on education, science, and culture.
