Elda María Xix Euán is a Mexican politician and educator currently serving as the Secretary of Education for the state of Quintana Roo. A member of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), she previously served as a local deputy in the Congress of Quintana Roo from 2022 to 2024 and was elected as a federal deputy for the LXVI Legislature in 2024. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles within the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE) and worked extensively in educational administration and evaluation. She assumed her current cabinet position in November 2024.
